Lazarous Posted April 1, 2002 Share Posted April 1, 2002 From what i can tell if you turn on the beam (force pull on the two switches to either side of the room) and then go through it you become immune to force damage for a short time. the beam has a cycle time, so you can go through it more than once. Chanke4252 Posted April 1, 2002 Share Posted April 1, 2002 yes, that red beam is some force boost power thing. It makes all your force powers more powerfull. Thats why his lightning knocks you over at first. You can use it yourself. Break all those little statue type things scattered on the upper level of the room, and there should be 2 little panels that you can force pull out on the left and right sides of the upper level. That will re-create the beam. You can then jump in and make your force powers a little powerful for a few moments as well. When you jump in the beam will dissappear and you will have little sprinkly things around you, that means your powers are temporarily boosted. Once you use it it will take about 3 minutes for it to reactivate, and the beam will reappear every few minutes after you use it from then on.
