OK I am upgrading to max on my computer and I would like to know if Jedi outcast would run on

VisionTek Xtasy 64 SDR PCI Geforce 4 mx

Intel celeron 850mhz

256mb sdram

and I might mention I want it to run fast and high resolution like 1024 x 768 or higher

So if anyone could give me some info I would appreciate it:)

ok, let me tell ya, first of all, a friend got a pentium4 1.4ghz geforce3ti 500 512mb of ram, and got some performance problems, not much, but has it. The celeron is a bad procesor for playing games, and the geforce4mx, just doesn't make the cut, is like a geforce2gts. It would be better if you get an amd athlon that are very cheap, or duron, cheaper, and get a little more bucks and buy a geforce3ti200 (i saw one in 168$), but after reading, what you choose is your desicion.

Thats BULL#%# a Celeron does have problems but I havent noticed I play quake 3 with my system at 566mhz a voodoo 3 3000 and 256mb ram and it works fine and geforce 4mx is way better than geforce 2 by far and you can ask anyone for yourself oh and I forgot I am only stuck with PCI because AGP is Integrated

ok GF4 MX aint the best-but if its same horse power as GTS (nearer GF2 Ti), it will still run well, i have a GTS and run it @

1024 x 768 @ 32 bit @ highest setting 2 x AA-and it runs fine

i have an athlon 750 w/ 256 mb pc133 sdram,

32 mb geforce2mx ,7200 rpm hd and win 2000 pro

initial load times are 45 seconds

quick saves and quick loads: 7 seconds

framerate: averages around 50 - 70 fps @ 1024x768 with all details on except shadows and anistropic filtering, texture detail is on high

Should I upgrade memory to 512mb ram cause with 256mb my resources are at 64% or lower and I dont want to delete anything on my desktop and cant close any more programs
