ManeFraim Posted April 1, 2002 Share Posted April 1, 2002 I have 3 (count em, three) computers with which I run the dedicated server. they all have the exact same firewall settings (proper ports opened), and all run windows xp. My P 166mmx server, and my P3 733 sho up on the internet, while my P3 750 laptop NEVER EVER DOES!!! What gives? The heartbeat goes out, but I never see my server listed on anything but local, and favorites. if anyone wants to try and connect, my address is 128.2.169.216 let me know Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hanging P Posted April 2, 2002 Share Posted April 2, 2002 Yeah, mine went down too. My server has basically been full non stop. Then I noticed when people disconnected, their places weren't being taken. This kept happening until there was no one left. I didn't change anything in my cfg, and it all worked fine. Then for no reason, the server doesn't show up on the master list anymore. In the server console, it does say "sending heartbeat to masterjk2.ravensoft.com No clue why it would work fine for the last few days, then stop working without changing anything. I was gonna put another P3 733 in my dual processor motherboard.... but now I dare not. Lest I get shot in the head by the Illuminati.......
