Game Restarting Problems

Whenever I exit a game on MP my computer just seems to want to restart itself. I don't know if this is a documented problem or not but it's a wee bit annoying.

 

I'm running:

WinXP Professional Edition

1.4 Ghz Athlon XP 1700+

256 DDR Ram

64 MB DDR ATI Radeon Video Card

Do you actually get to exit all the way out to desktop before the system reset? Or do your start the exit process and then the system reset?

 

The seemingly random system reset is the WinXP defaulted way to deal with a crash. You can turn that off so you can read whatever error message the computer gives you (System/Advanced/Startup and Recovery -- then uncheck Automatically Restart).

 

This might possibly help you at least diagnose and receive some form of error window.
