MipMapping to low on ATI Radeon Mobility M6

Hi,

 

i use a Gericom Supersoniq M6-T Labtop,

PIII 1.2 GHz

384MB

20GBHD

ATI Radeon Mobility M6 32MB

 

the game is great and runs smoothly on my System, but it looks like that the mipmapping is switch to early.

 

I have selected the higest Texture Level and it looks great, but the early switching Mipmapping make the texture level to low, because i can see the next mipmap level to early.

 

Has anybody undersand me ?

 

What ever - is there any way to adjust the mipmap swapping ? Maybe in the settings of the Quake 3 engine or somwhere in thedriver setting of my ATI Radeon ?
