Doctor J.
Hello, The game runs (for the most part) quite well on my machine: PIII 600 Geforce 2MX 256 MB RAM Win 98 My problem is that sometimes little white dots appear on the corners of walls/structures, making it look like there are "seams" in the map. This is quite apparent in several large areas, most notably the giant shaft on the Bespin level (the one with floors that kill you). I tried fiddling with all the options and I switched to the older 23.11 drivers, but to no avail. Is it an inherent default in the engine? I heard from someone that the QIII engine has problems with larger maps. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
gab_paq
My specs: AMD Athlon 900Mhz GeForce2 MX 256 Mb Ram Win XP I have the exact same problem... little annoying dots are outlining some polygons, showing the polygon seams, making for some very distracting graphical glitches... I hope Lucasarts are working on this for an upcoming patch, because it seems related to GeForce2 MX video adapter....

ViperTF
My specs: AMD Athlon 1000 mhz GEForce 2 MX 384 MB Ram Win 98 SE That's really weird, I haven't been having that problem at all with my setup. Did you guys run GLsetup before you ran the game..sometimes it helps to double check that you have the latest drivers from them..One thing, too..don't ever turn on Volumetric shadows with a GEForce 2..it makes things look really ugly..Hope you guys figure out what the problem is..bye
ElectricBrain
Try disabling Triple buffering in ur graphics options. Turn it down to Double.
gab_paq
How do I run the GLsetup? I have no idea how to configure the OpenGL or Direct3D options of the game...
gab_paq
Oh, and how do I verifiy if I have the right OpenGL driver? If not, how will know wich one to use?
Doctor J.
I tried both of those suggestions, but they didn't solve the problem (the driver I currently have is actually newer than the one GLSETUP offers). Man, this is really starting to annoy me; I'm on the second last level and those damn white seams are everywhere! WTF?
