Robbiesan Posted April 2, 2002 Posted April 2, 2002 I've seen some players do this but don't know how to do it.. how?
ChangKhan Posted April 2, 2002 Posted April 2, 2002 Crouch while running (must be running first). Also, if you land from a jump, you should be able to hit crouch and a direction and roll when you land. You can control the direction but not the length of the roll.
KrunCh Posted April 2, 2002 Posted April 2, 2002 It was nice of you to help him out, but I wish people would just spend 5 minutes to read the manuals and readme files.
Mecra Posted April 2, 2002 Posted April 2, 2002 That option is only available for those with "Legitimate" versions of the game. Originally posted by KrunCh It was nice of you to help him out, but I wish people would just spend 5 minutes to read the manuals and readme files.

I might be wrong here, but when I got the game the day it came out I had to work, so all I could do was read the manual while there, I read it front to back about 10 times. I never read a thing about rolling or any acrobatics, I thought they had scrapped it. I had to be told in a mulit game how-to. So maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think that stuff's IN the manual.
Daedelus Posted April 2, 2002 Posted April 2, 2002 I read the manual also, but I don't remember anything about how to do rolls either. D
Robbiesan Posted April 2, 2002 Author Posted April 2, 2002 Whew.. so I'm not the only one who didn't see this in the manual..
Coronog Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 Not everyone reads the manual, you know. I for one rarely read manuals unless I need to figure out something specific and I can't do it on my own. Might be just me, though.
RedEye Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 But you just had to take a look at the readme file. In almost every manual are mistakes/missing stuff which can be found in a readme.txt shipped on the CD. I think Setup asks whether you'd like to read it.
