Mission 1=Plays great / Mission 2=CRASH!

I just got an email from Raven's tech support. They recomended I do a through surface scan of my HD, and that seems to have done the trick. I did the following:

 

1.) Uninstalled JK2 (Kept my saved games)

2.) Did a through surface scan of ALL my Hard drives.

3.) Did a disk defrag of ALL my Hard drives.

4.) Restarted.

5.) Reinstalled to the same directory it was in before.

6.) Played and played and played...

 

During that playing I restarted my system several times and went back into the game. Still is working great. I hope this info might be helpful to others with like problems.
