TheDarkSide
Are you asking for what setup would be best or how to program your mouse so the game will recognize it? To answer the 2nd ?, use the Intellipoint software to bind keystrokes to the different buttons. That's the only way to use all those extra buttons on the mouse....just treat it like a pseudo keyboards. As to what to put on there I have the wireless optical explorer with 5 buttons total (including the mousewheel) set up as follows left click:primary fire right click: secondary fire wheel: change stance pressing wheel down: turn saber on Button#4 mindtrick Button#5 heal (Lightside setup) All my other force powers are within 1 key away from WASD. HC - Exar Kun
I am using an Intellimouse Optical trackball (same as your mouse just that its a trackball) If you mostly use your saber and force then you'll want a setup like this Button 1 - Primary Fire Button 2 -Secondary Fire Button 3 (Press Wheel Button) - Jump (WHEEL UP) - Next Weapon or Force (WHEEL DOWN) - Previous Weapon or Force Button 4 - Strafe Left Button 5 - Strafe Right I use the strafing for these buttons not through JK-2 but through the Intellimouse software itself... Set up the left button (button 4) to be a keystroke and use the letter A Set up the right button (button 5) to be a keystroke and use the letter D Only problem with this is that I I have to launch the Intellimouse software and look to make sure they're still setup as keystrokes because I have it setup for use with individual programs.
