** Is unzipping the pak files in base directory recommended?

I am wondering, since i read it from another thread that it may help. Will this improve the game a lot? is it safe to do so?

 

unzipping the original JO paks and back them up else where.

(I assume u use the same filename as the folder name leaving out the .pak extension right?)

 

I may try this as it makes lots of sense to me, but i m worried it may crash my JO.. hv anybody try it and it has improved a lot?
