Mr Tim
Does anyone know of a way to make multiple player configurations like you could in JK1? I have one computer in my house and more people than that who want to play JK2. If there's no easy answer, does anyone know if installing the game a second time but into a new directory and opening it from there for another player would work? Desslock
On the force powers config screen, you can click on Filename, type a filename, and then hit Save. It will save it so you can quickly recall that config later.
Scooter
Like every other q3 game, your config is held in a file (the force cfg file is seperate - but the force settings are in your config file too). It's called jk2config.cfg in the "base" directory. Just copt this file to another name. Then configure the next guy, copy his file and so on. If you're talking Multiplayer then it gets even easier - after you've done the baove, go grab the All Seeing Eye http://www.udpsoft/eye and configure it for multiple player profiles. You then get to specify a config file for JKII for each player - ta daaa! swap profiles in Eye, and you get your own config for each game you configure in it. Mr Tim
Thanks Scooter. That was very helpful and exactly what I wanted to know. I already use the All-Seeing Eye, but have never checked out the profiles side of it, so that will be the first thing I try.
Mr Tim
This is really the first game using the Q3 engine I've played (except for a bit of MOHAA) - so I've no experience in the way the configuration, etc works. Thanks for filling me in though.
