Groundrunner Posted April 3, 2002 Share Posted April 3, 2002 I think those crystals are what gives the Shadow Trooper their force powers. They're just ordinary skilled soldiers otherwise. Desann & Galak took the crystals they were trying to imbue with the Force to the Valley of the Jedi I think, and were quickly successful. The way I understood it: Reborn are force inclined people or even regular people who were put through the Valley of the Jedi. And maybe the harder ones did actually have some Jedi powers before visiting the Valley which only served to amplify their weak powers. Shadowtroopers on the other hand are just elite soldiers of the Imperial Remnant, who get to try out the Empire's latest greatest technology: lightsabre resistant suits with added force crystal, imbuing them with limited force powers. Willmore Posted April 3, 2002 Share Posted April 3, 2002 the first jedis are technically infused jedis, not too good, then there are slightly better ones - valley jedis, then the lightsaber-protected jedis (with the crystals) and finally desann, which used the power of the academy thingy. that's the way i understood it, anyone going to correct me ?
