Lord_aCe Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 I am recieving that as well. Except, for me, I started the server. Everyone else was fine, but I kept getting that message and was booted. Any ideas?
-Kosh- Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 I had a user getting that when he tried to join my server last night. he reinstalled the game, and the error went away. The thread is here.
UberJedi727 Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 I doubt the errors went away for good. Just a question.. but are all you using linksys routers? This game has a lot of problems running behind one.. if not other routers.. You will have one hell of a time getting a server to not drop clients.. and report to the master server.. although it does to show in all seeing eye I've tried all the fixes that were on this page.. none worked.. the router is getting trashed soon for a different brand
leelink Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 I connected to your server and played for about 10 mins with no disconnected errors. I was originally gettings this errors but when I reinstalled the game into the default directory the errors went away. I also am behind a linksys 4 port router and have a linksys wireless bridge behind that. I have ports from 28060 to 28091 forwarded. I started it 28060 becuase in the readme.txt for the game it says that this port has to be forwarded. I am going to turn off the port forwarding and rejoin your game. Update: took of the port forwarding and restarted my pc, still no parse server errors. The server worked fine for me. I am not sure why other people are having a problem. maybe those people are Need to reinstall thier game into the default directory. Thats what got rid of my errors
Karride Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 I had somone getting that too, he had installed a no CD hack. Once he got rid of the hack it went away.
