The_BZA
Hey Fellas, I had that horrible Tearing issue with my GeForce 4 Ti card and it turns out that my computer wasnt saving the "More Video" settings as i changed them, did some tinkering and managed to get the VSynch option ON and STAYING ON!!! YAY!!! now then, NEW PROBLEM! perhaps i didnt notice it before but my mouse is doing this very odd floaty thing where it seems to respons sluggishly to my commands and movements, i have adjusted the sensativity and the mouse-smoothing, and it still floats. any ideas? im running Windows XP Pro and i had a similair problem with CounterStrike because of Windows XP's automatic "Mouse Accelleration" . the sollution at that point was to add "noforcemparms" and noforceaccell" or something to the target line of the shortcut, anybody hae Windows XP and an MS Intellimouse Explorer and similair Mouse Float issues? Know a fix? let me know, Thanks!!

GreyWing
I had that problem with my Logitech mouse. and actually, the only way I found to fix it was to do a driver rollback. Apparently the geniuses that made the drivers assumed that everyone in the world using their products would prefer mouse acceleration on and wouldn't EVER need to disable it (as there is no switch or even a registry key that allows you to do this). So try rolling back your mouse drivers, it might fix it.
