Game freezes at end of level 11 (Bespin Undercity)

When I get to the end of level 11, the point when you first meet a reborn jedi, the cut scene starts, Kyle says "I sense a great disturbance in the force", the camera pans up, then the picture locks up. I have to Alt-Tab to get back to windows. I'm running XP Pro with up to date drivers for all my hardware.

 

My specs:

 

Windows XP Pro

Athlon 800

GeForce 2 MX 400 64MB

256MB RAM

 

Any ideas guys?

I have same problem, cuts to FMV then freezes looking at jyle just as the bottom on the screen is about the clear the platform. Only time I progressed past this was using the win key to switch out and back and then got a voice over with static screen.

strange, when i tried to go back into the game after using the win key to escape nothing happened. i gave up trying to figure it out and used the "map" command to skip to the next level. since than i've had no further problems. i would still like to know what was causing the lockup.

what hardware and what graphik drivers do you use ?

 

my system; amd 1200, 512 mb, abit kt7a, gf3, 28 er newst offical drivers

I have a similar problem, but on the level beforehand.

 

I get lando to the ship, fuel it up, open the doors, and take off.

 

Lil cutscene, thenblack background, and stats for the level.

 

It starts to load, but freezes like 15% EVERY time.

i installed the game on my other computer, take the same quicksave, but with the same result (different hardware)

perhaps it is a faulty savegame,, try to restart the level again and see what happens, or did someone else try to restart the level again with same bad results ?
