Retro Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 This is most likely a lost cause but, is there any way for me to decrease my ping on long distance servers? (I'm in US and want to connect to Aus servers) I get 200 ping usually, which isn't too bad, but it sometimes jumps to 400, making the sabre more luck than any semblence of skill. I'm on DSL btw, and I dont want posts about "get cable" or a new ISP or moving, I just wanted to know if there was anything I could do with my current connection to lower my ping.

I guess that is normal You could look at my rules to improve online gaming but that won't do that much more on such a distance.
