apco25
Hello, in XP you can change to ACPI single processor, but cannot change back. The only way I found (without pressing F5 on re-install) was to use the MS snapshot system. When you want to restore to Multiprocessor, restore the system snapshot. If anyone knows a workaround for this, I would like to hear it. Also, when will the patch be out for this problem? apco25
Anchovie
I went back and changed back to a multiprocessor system, I used the exact directions that our friend has given us, but basically did it backwards, and both processors seem to be working fine what went wrong when you tried to enable both processors? pyroclasmx
Quote off thier updated FAQ 4. I'm having crashing problems connecting to multiplayer with my Dual AMD processor. Help? We are aware of this issue and are working on a permanent fix. In the meantime, if you change the kernel to the Uniprocessor driver instead of the Multiprocessor driver and it works fine. awwww they use my gimp fix and show me no love heh ;*(**
