How do you enable cheats in a server for multiplayer??

i just wanna play my friends via ip address, not online. how can i start a multiplayer game with cheats enabled? there is a cool trick where you can use a duel sabre like darth maul

sv_cheats 1

sv_cheats is read only. then i typed it in like you said and it says sv_cheats "0"; default "0".

 

it typed in set sv_cheats 1, it says no such cmd

 

so i added to the shortcut +set sv_cheats 1 after the quotes in the line and still, i get

"CHEATS NOT ENABLED ON THIS SERVER"

 

 

WTF?? anybody please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

devmap <mapname>

or

devmapall <mapname>

1.) start a server normally

2.) drop down the console (Shift ~)

3.) type devmap ffa_deathstar (no quotes/or whatever map of your choice)

4.) select your lightsaber, and turn it off (it has to be off) while your still holding it.

5.) type /thedestroyer into the console(no quotes)

Boom you got darth mauls double edged lightsabre. cool.
