The Problem:

When running Win2k Pro I had ZERO problems with it, even with the new vid card. I recently upgraded to WinXP. I've spent 2 hours on this problem straight and can't figure out why it's doing this. Whenever I start up JO it goes to a white screen just before it kicks to the main game screen start up (W/the Lucasarts trade mark). Well it never gets that far. It locks up on the white screen. I do have the newest Dets and drivers for this card. I can't figure out exactly why it's doing this. I know the game runs on XP, I've seen it on a Xtasy Geforce2 MX440 w/WinXP. So if anyone else is having that same problem with the any of the Ti series Geforce's would help out. I'll continue trying and post my results on here unless someone else already has the results and what to do to correct this minor malfunction. I'm very eager to play it on XP. I got 3DMark's at over 4000 and Framerates in 2k @ 150. So I'm curious to run this on XP with this very sweet vid card to see what FPS and Marks I get on it. Please help ASAP if you guys can. Thanks in advance for all your help.

If you play in Safe Mode + Compatibility set to Win2k = Good. Just annoying having each time to set everything back up, vid, controls, etc... But it at least runs on there. Average load times on the levels is about 45 seconds to 1 minute. As you should know you can't do a Compatibility mode on the standard start cause it's a pop up and has no affect. I have turned everything off, AA, XP Performance crap, and put everything on as fast as it will go, system wise. I'm gonna try something else, but I'm getting tired of rebooting due to lock ups, as we all know windows will not take much more manual reset hits.

3Dmark2001 scores above 4,000? With your Ti4600? I get 5,400 with my VTek Geforce 2 Ultra. When I had stolen a VTek Ti500 from my neighbor (sadly he saw I had stolen it- don't know how he knew), I was getting 3DMark2001 scores above 8,000.

Was the number typed wrong?
