SurrenderorDie Posted April 4, 2002 Share Posted April 4, 2002 Hi, I got some serious problem with 3Dgames. MOHAA runs like **** on my computer. FPS are very low, it's almost unplayable. My specs are: Intel Celeron 768 MHZ 320 MB RAM Aopen mx 34 (via 4 in 1 driver) Onboard sound: AC97 Codec, latest driver. Geforce 2 mx 400 64 mb (driver v. 23.11) I also downloaded nvmax so I could change antialiasing. 10 GB HD Atapi Cdrom 44x Windows XP I will get my copy of JO tommorow and I am worried if my system will be able to run it smoothley. I have a couple of questions: My total paging file size for all drives are 96 MB, should I change it? Initial size: 96 MB Maximum size: 192 MB Minimum: 2 MB Recommended: 478 MB Currently allocated: 96 MB My screen refresh rate are 75 hertz, I have never changed that. I have System restore on and set on max. I have enabled write caching on the disk. I restarted my computer and here is some info: Total physical memory: 319,48 MB Available physical mem: 163,66 Total virtual mem: 710,62 Available virtual mem: 438,20 Page file space: 391,13 As you can se I am no good at computers but I appriciate any help! I was running Geforce2 ultra on 1 ghz machine with 1 gig ram b4 and the game didn't run too smoothly. I moved up to geforce3 and it runs like a butter.
