jtrun
I get this error in the console (hit shift and ~ if you don't know how to get to it) when attempting to connect to the master server or someone else's game via /connect ip#, or when someone tries to connect to me. I decided to do a test to see if I could connect to myself by hosting a game on my own machine (gotta love having so much ram). One would think I wouldnt have a problem but that is not the case, all I see in the console when the game tries to connect is a scrolling WASECONNREFUSED error that occurs everytime JO attempts to connect to the server. I cannot host any local games that other people can play in (I am on a lan connection) nor see them on the master server list. My roommate was able to get the server list refreshed np (he is running win 2k) and play without a problem, and a guy who is also in my dorm, who is running an intel based win xp box, was able to get mp working as well. I can play solo mp games with bots, but bots just aren't fun at times. I have been plagued by this for the past 2 days trying everything I know of to fix said issue, but alas no solution. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. system specs athlon XP 1800 512 meg ram radeon 8500 c-media on board sound via onboard network controller (tried reinstalling the drivers for the device to no avail) (mb = soyo dragon +)

hmmm
Unfortunately, I can't offer any help, but I can say that I've had the same error crop up in MOHAA games before. It didn't seem to do it all the time though--only with specific servers.
