cfg help

I want to change the default model I use for MP in the cfg but when i changed it from reborn/default to reborn/fencer it doesn't work and i have to change it in the console. What specific command do I have to add/edit in the cfg to make this work?

Also I only ever use the middle style so is there a command in the cfg that can automatically change it to middle without me having to do anything? I tried adding saberAttackCycle or whatever it is but, like the model, it didn't do anything.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

You'll need to open the jk2mpconfig.cfg file in the base folder

look for this line about 1/3 rd of the way down....

seta model

This is an example model config line

\/ \/ \/ \/ \/\/ \/ \/ \/ \/\/ \/ \/ \/

seta model "desann/default"

-------------------------------------------

Use your model name here inside the quotes....

save....

and BING that should fix it..

For the saber it should reload the same setting you had used in the previous game you played...

Default on fresh install is medium

heh if only... no that was the first thing i did and it just loaded up the default model everytime... :(

As for the saber I only ever use the medium stance so every game i finish with it on and when I next play it's back to the light stance.

Well this is a new one for me...

I dont recall seeing anything like this....

Have you tried re-installing ?

For the saber pressing 1 button each time you start is HARDLY a big deal compared to some of the problems I've helped solve here....

I'd say re-install it if you haven't tried that...

Other than that I'm stumped at the moment....

I'm off to actually go PLAY a few rounds of JO

Before I crash here...

( I've been fixing $H|T for like 4 hours now )

But I will see if I can force your error to happen on one of my systems here and try to find the fix...

Let ya know later if I find anything......

heh thx man... it's no big deal really as i can bind a key to change my model and it's certainly not worth a reinstall... just nice to have it done automatically... considering the other skins are already in the game it seems stupid that there's no option to change them (appart from using the console).
