A newer CPU would help a lot, and if your using your computer for games, try to get a CPU with the full 256KB L2 cache, rather than 0-64KB like the celeron and duron calss cpu's have. You can but an old Athlon T-bird with the full 256KB cache for about $10 more than you can buy the same speed duron these days and the two work on the same motherboards, so...... HC - Exar Kun
Yes a new faster cpu would help a great deal.... But also if you get a 64mb video card you'll see a dramatic increase in your fps...

Be careful how much you rely on this though...You need a processor to support the GFX card, so don't expect to get the same increase as the same as if you got a new processor, If your computer can barely run a 32 mb video card, what makes you think it'll run a 64mb card any better? Support is the key. I'd update the processor first, itll help more overall things too.
