stuck!: garbage hauler

After I jump accross the arm of the second lamp and jumps into the garbage hauler. what do I do?

I just finished that level and as far as I can tell you need to restart from a previous save so that you can get onto the hauler again. This time however, use the force push on the stop light like buttons at each entrance (when the hauler pauses) so that the hauler will keep going. I couldn't find anyway to get back on the hauler once I was knocked off.

Yoou can jump down into a little porch from the platform that you get stuck at if you fail to take the garbage hauler all the way.
