Shifty Capone Posted April 5, 2002 Share Posted April 5, 2002 Hey guys........ i played the single player right when i installed jk2 awhile ago.....i have been playing multiplayer the past couple of days and i felt like playing single today so i double click on the icon and it says "A required .DLL file, OPENAL32.DLL, was not found. " What in the poopy should i do!? i see the .DLL on the disc.......should i reinstall or what? thanks for any help....... i dont think this has to do with my system specs, but i can give em if ya need em Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Shifty Capone Posted April 5, 2002 Author Share Posted April 5, 2002 aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so i unistalled it like it said to do........and i go to click on the setup file in gamedata directory on the cd, and it says that its not a valid win32 application!!!!!!!!! i dont think i can get my jk2 to install again if i dont fix that dumb crap............help meeeeeeeeeeeeeee pleassssssseeeeeeee Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Shifty Capone Posted April 6, 2002 Author Share Posted April 6, 2002 please someone help me!!!! after i rebooted the game worked fine......there was a power outage and my comp turned off (surge protector) anyways......it says cant find openal32.dll again!! if can help me in ANY WAY please, do it! HC - Exar Kun Posted April 6, 2002 Share Posted April 6, 2002 POSSIBLE SOLUTION For XP: 1. Go to Program Files\Jedi Knight\Game Data\ 2. Copy the file OpenAL32.dll (Sound card libraries) 3.
