Samahan
Did anyone notice that, while dueling whith sabers, the Bots in MP games play differently than the Reborns on the SP game. I love the feeling of staring to the opponent and planing strategically wich gonna be my next move, and then action, and then more planing... As Ben Kennobi vs Darth Vader , or Luke vs Darth Vader in the films... But in MP games, the bots are always running... they never stop like the Reborns on the SP game. I never did that move with the sabers "arm wrestling" like ... You know what I mean... Is there a way to fix this? Do Jedi Master Bots play in a different stile than the Padawans or Iniciants? Zahriel Omega
Hmmm, the way these bots seemed to be coded is that they rarely do actually stop for breath. I agree it's kind of manic but there's such a conform known as Camping in multiplayer game which is when players just hide and stop and nobody can find them. It makes the game more boring but I do see your point. If you load a multiplayer level with the "devmap x" console command where "x" is the multiplayer level name (ie. "devmap ffa_yavin" or "devmap ffa_bespin") and then when you've started the server up do something like "npc spawn reborn" then you'll basically spawn a reborn in front of you that will fight with the SP coding. This could be a spoiler so admins please tag me if it is (never sure exactly how much help i'm allowed to give) If you want to fight a jedi from the game then try doing a "npc spawn tavion" or "npc spawn desann". If you're feeling the dark side you can always fight luke skywalker "npc spawn luke" but you'll have to injure him a little (force grip, saber, etc..) to make him fight you. There are other jedi characters to spawn but I may be treading on dangerous ground to give them away. ~runs off with laserbeams shooting after him~ ----------------------------- After I typed all that i realised that the console commands only work in the singleplayer but if you are just looking for a botmatch all is not lost. Run the singleplayer game and in the console do a "devmap ..." then load one of these levels (or any others): [ffa_bespin, ffa_deathstar, ffa_imperial, ffa_ns_hideout, ffa_ns_streets, ffa_raven, ffa_yavin] And you'll have yourself standing in an empty multiplayer map, then you can do the "npc spawn ..." and it'll work. I hope this was of some help.
