toolboi
me and a friend were able to make a photorealistic rust effect with the sponge tool in photoshop. Its been a while, but I beleive you make a quickmask, do a sponge effect, then hue that red. You also have to mess around a LOT to make it look good, but it provides a good starting point. CapcomDave
does anyone know any good sites that have Photoshop 6 tutorials? I'm a newbie with it and I want to create some badass doctored JKII screenshots. I already have one cool one. Tell me how to put a picture in a post and I'll show you guys. FuShanks
If you see a tut that says to use noise+motion blur to create metal and/or instructs you to use a lens flare, run away and don't look back. Run far, far away.
