HBK Posted April 6, 2002 Posted April 6, 2002 In SP I've noticed that the enemies can sense you through doors. e.g. walking in a hallway, come to a closed door and they will respond "lets see your ID" or something like that before you get through it. It soesn't seem right. To top it off, when you get through the door, it's like they DIDN'T know you were there. I'd rather them not sense me, but if they did, let them set an ambush. HBK
Swamp Posted April 6, 2002 Posted April 6, 2002 hmm, havn't seen this ... is it constant, or just here and there?
HBK Posted April 7, 2002 Author Posted April 7, 2002 Well, it happened enough for me to notice. I noticed it on the mission to find Jan/ the Doomgiver.
wolssiloa Posted April 7, 2002 Posted April 7, 2002 I've had that happen to me on the Doomgiver too. I would walk near a door and then I'll hear "You Rebel Scum", haha. But they never send stormtroopers to hunt me down.
Doppler Posted April 7, 2002 Posted April 7, 2002 Yes, I'll agree to this thread. It seems to happen alot more in the later missions. I've heard "Let's see your ID" or the Rebel Scum quip when running in a hall, no door in sight (they are in another room, parallel to the hall I was in but not accessible yet). I also love when the Stormtroopers give chase and you back away until they decide you aren't worth following anymore and they trot back to their stations. Here's another: I Mindtrick a trooper. Stormtrooper starts blasting at a fellow Stormtrooper near him with no reaction from him or other troopers. Meanwhile the conversation about who's been on the largest battleship still ensues in the background. Stormtrooper then dies and the Jedi Mindtrick one then says, "Well, back to work", as the Mindtrick wears off. Funniest AI comedy ever. :atat:
