Try using Wicked GL

You can find it here...

http://www.wicked3d.com/products/wickedgl/default.htm/

After you install WickedGL and quake3 drivers if nessecary, open Wglgames.cfg in wordpad. Half way down or so you'll see the line

"Quake 3",quake3.exe,opengl32.dll

DON'T CHANGE THE NAME IN QUOTES. Changing the name will prevent WickedGL's installer from running.

Change the line to...

"Quake 3",jk2sp.exe,opengl32.dll

Save, and exit. Install the GL drivers using the control panel

( It still says Quake 3 in the game box, but it will really work for Jedi Knight Outcast)

------------------------------------

AFTER INSTALLING WICKED GL

Also if the sky and the gamma is still messed up then do this...

You will need to open the jk2mpconfig.cfg file in Wordpad and change a few numbers.

This file is located in: "\Jedi Outcast\GameData\base"

To fix the sky, find the line that reads:

seta r_fastsky "1"

Change the 1 to a 0 and the sky should reappear.

Now, to fix the gamma, find the line that reads:

seta r_ignorehwgamma "0"

Change the 0 to a 1 and the gamma should be normal.

Save the file, load JO and you should be good to go.

Also make sure your drivers are up-to-date

ive downloaded drivers for "Radeon 32MB DDR" like 3 times now....uninstalled mine.....went to install these......it sais "The display driver is not compatible with the display adapter installed in your system". when i go to system and hardware it shows me that i have "ATI RADEON DDR (AGP)" and its a 32 MB video card....so i thought that they were the same thing. is there somewhere else i can download drivers for my video card that have openGL. BTW im using XP if that matters.
