B0MBER II Posted April 6, 2002 Share Posted April 6, 2002 Ok I am making this spidey venom skin and I came across a problem when doing the eyes I have the face_01.jpg file like this: http://12.232.4.81/Bomb/face_01.jpg any ideas why the black line shows up through the white eyes? Absath Posted April 6, 2002 Share Posted April 6, 2002 looks to me like that line is actually a really fine separation of polygons. what model is that? you might want to try going to the eys_mouth file and extending the whites of the eyes some more...otherwise it might just be because if the eyelid sticking out and the shader on it. And I don't want that comic and nude and all this stupid skins for jedi knight, and I won't use them. That's my opinion, and I can write it here. Garik Loran Posted April 6, 2002 Share Posted April 6, 2002 Ok. Have you edited the mouth_eyes.jpg? There is the eyecolor, and maybe there are these black lines? If you have changed this then you can't remove it by painting new textures. With the SDK (when it's released) you will be able to rmove that parts. Garik Loran Posted April 7, 2002 Share Posted April 7, 2002 Hmm, then you have two options: 1. wait for a model editor. 2. Try the shader files. If you find the right entries you may make this parts of the eyes transapernt, so the problem would be solved.
