Retro
I was wondering, are you supposed to take damage, when you fall from a hight, lower than you can jump?
seanconnery
If you have lvl 3 Force Jump, yes. Say, from the top "floor" in ns_streets to the area surrounding two big holes would cost you approximately 30 health points.
Pvt_Dancer
I noticed this too. And its quite a chunk of health too. I think part of the benefeit of getting levels of force jump should be to be able to take falling from a greater height. It shouldn't be dramatic but at least as high as you can jump! Retro
What I'm refering to, is like in the tournament map, if you stand on the edge in the blue base, and drop, you take 8 damage, if you jump, you take none, also in warring factions, if you fall off one of the catwalks you take damage, even though you can jump right back up. seanconnery
I agree with Dancer. Retro, what do you think? In Deux Ex, the speed augmentation gave something like force jump and speed together in addition to being able to fall from great heights with little or no damage. I would throw a (modded) nuclear grenade in a room (Maggie Chau's apartment, in case anyone who played is wondering) and jump out a window, literally falling 20 odd floors and landing with 4 points damage. Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is style.
Retro
I dunno, I just dont like falling a few feet and taking damage, when I can easily jump that.
seanconnery
Try rolling off and then rolling again when you land. Helps a little.
