Need some specific info on 3ds max modelling for jkii.

Hey guys,

 

Sofar I've only seen Q3 related modelling and texture mapping tuts, but I need some specific jkii info to get started with making new models.

 

So if anyone has any info (on poly count and other limitations, specific file formats, etc) I'd love to hear/read them, so I won't be doing all the work for nothing. If anyone knows for sure how much is the same with Q3, I'd really like to know too (I never played Q3, so I don't have a clue how both games compare, model wise).

 

Point is, I want to have some stuff ready to test as soon as we can start exporting glm from 3ds max.

Sounds like you're in exactly the same boat as myself. I'm a 3Dds Max user too but have never played Quake 3 before, so any info would be great. In addition, how do I go about exporting for the Quake 3 engine?
