g_parsespawnvars error msg

I've posted this before, to no avail. I'm still having problems at the exact same spot.

 

The problem is:

 

I'm at the artus mine mission, getting ready to hop on the tram to exit the level, and I get this error msg:

g_parsespawnvars:

found *1 when expecting {

 

I'm seen other people post this problem as well, and they just recommend skipping to the next level (using the cheats), and losing seeing the cut scene. I live for the cut scenes and would rather hold off until there is a solution.
