Problems loading saves

When I try to load from a save, the game hangs - the only way for me to load a save at any time is to exit the game altogether, re-open it and load a game. So every time i die, I've got to go all the way out and back in again...sigh. Any similar problems, anyone. Lot's o' RAM (300+) but only a Pii400, old 3dfx card.

I have a Voodoo 3 and the same problem. I checked out the readme file and it said that the game loads slowly on systems with Voodoo 3 cards. Check out the readme yourself cos it lists all the supported chipsets and think about upgrading your 3D card. Do you also find that the cutscenes stutter and are upside down, or is that just me?

By the way, does anybody have any ideas about what PCI cards will work with a Packard Bell PC, cos I tried to upgrade to a GeForce2 a few weeks ago, but Packard Bell PCs don't work with them, according to some guy in PC World. Any help would be appreciated.

same for me on my Voodoo3. Get a new geforce, the difference in quality is amazing.

I tried, but I only have PCI slots, so I can only get a few different types of GeForce2, and the ones I've tried don't work at all. I can't upgrade the motherboard or anything like that cos its my dad's computer.

Name your saves instead of letting the game naming them, all my problems vanished! aslo delete all the ones you dont need anymore. = )
