Customization of keys

I customize the keyboard according to my needs. But when I exit and re-enter the game the customization is gone and I have to re-customize the keys from the beginning.

How can I save my customized keys???

Make your own config, you can extract one of the ones out of the pk3 file in your JK2 directory and alter it the way you want. An example of one is AJ.cfg, its inside the file, just extract it like winzip. Make sure you change the name, heh. While in the game just type "exec yourconfig.cfg" make sure you change the name of the config where is says yourconfig

Renaming it "autoexec.cfg" will run it when the game is run, so you don't waste time in the console.

 

Of course, if you have seperate configs you want to switch between then the other option is viable...

 

I'm still at a loss as to why it isn't saving your keys though.

Huh i simple copied the original controls and edited to my needings. Now i have a ligh and dark.cfg and i bound it to D and L keys. like bind d "exec dark.cfg"
