You can push mines when they are thrown to you as well, but when tripmines are placed, they are stuck there unless you shoot them. You can even push bazooka's away or back to the shooter. I've used tripmines to damage a couple Reborns, but you have to place the mines before the Reborns can see you place them. Just crouch under the lines, lure the Reborn(s) and crouch back until you're way beyond the damage area of the explosion. I only chose to do that, because there were 4 Reborns and one in black armour chasing me and at that point I was alone (no friendly Jedi's helping me). So, that's not cheating....right?
