Morcavalin
Ok, thanks. Too bad though :-( Thinking about it maybe you cant record SP for any quake-engined game (?) I never wanted to until now. Hope they will add that possibility in some upcomming Patch/Enchancement Pack.
Canis_Aureus
hmmm his question just made me wonder if it is possible to record a demo in MP?
Joruus
Yes it is possible to record a demo in multiplayer. Drop the console and type this /g_synchronousClients 1 /record <demoname> When you do this, you'll see a small file size indicator in the top section of your screen that basically will help you keep track of how big your demo is. The -problem- with demo recording in JK2 is the same as the problem with demo recording in the original Quake 3 Arena release, it causes alot of jerkiness and hitchy video while playing...making it damn near impossible to make a -good- demo. Its especially bad if the server is recording the demo on their end (sigh....gonna be awhile before we get any JKO machinima) because it then effects all the clients on the server. Like I said, the problems been seen before in Q3A engine games, but some of them seem to have it beat. RTCW records demos smooth as a baby's butt without a single hitch. Come to think of it, RTCW doesn't hitch when players join a server either. Hey Raven wtf over?
