vortico
Played through part of the single player version fine, so I decieded I wanted to try some multi-player, but unforutuatly it is crashing every time. It basically crashes in the initial JKII MP console, before the game even starts. It initializes, executes the 3 config files, says "Hunk_Clear: reset the hunk ok" and detects my CPU, then windows brings up an error box and says jk2mp.exe must close. Not sure what in the world could be causing the problem, as single player works perfectly fine. My config: Ath XP1800 512DDR ram MSI KT266Pro2 MB (KT266a via chipset) PNY Geforce 3 ti200 Hecrules Gametheater XP Windows XP no clue what the problem is, I've tried reinstalling several times with no results =/ any help would be appreciated. HC - Exar Kun
Well you're probably using DSL or cable right ??? Theres quite a few problems with those and JO right now... And not many possible fixes.... At least that I've seen.... And I've been here around 4-6 hours everyday for nearly a week answering questions and Trying to document fixes for submission to Raven... HC - Exar Kun
Otherwise.... ( I just noticed ) You need to have the latest VIA 4 'n' 1 drivers for your board !
vortico
Ya I'm using cable, with a linksys router. I checked my drivers and I'm currently using 4.37 for my chipset drivers, those the most current or are there new ones posted somewhere? Oh also using detonator 28.32 from nvidia. Thanks alot for the quick response =), gave me a couple ideas too which i'm gonna try out and see if they fix the problem.
