Takura Posted April 7, 2002 Posted April 7, 2002 I have a voodoo 3 3000 and when I try to run JK 2 I get an error. I was just wondering if any of you guys out there have succesfully played this game on a voodoo card?
XeoN Posted April 7, 2002 Posted April 7, 2002 I'm playing it on a P2 350 and a voodoo 2... With all details set to minimum it works fine and the load times for most of the levels are never longer than a minute...reload is even better natch

I'm getting some fuzzy( unreadable menu's) but I've figured out what i need to click on) otherwise running ok.. just got back from a weekend long LanParty that I turned about 15 people onto the JKO and we gamed hard... my machine had some slowdown in some heavy battle areas but other than that it was fine..
simonknight Posted April 8, 2002 Posted April 8, 2002 If you want the game to run even better, go to http://www.wicked3d.com and get the program called wickedgl.The program isnt setup for JK2, but if you copy the opengl32.dll file to the JK2 Gamedata directory it will use it. I have a voodoo 5 5500, and can play with all graphics up and 1024x768 and I can see the movies. WickedGL is a great substitute for a opengl card if you cant afford one right now. Allthough since its not completely perfect (smoke and light are grainy) I think I will finally say adieu to 3DFX and get me a geforce3.
