im in the room where you turn off the lights and put on the light amp googles, then jump down and crawl past the stormtroopers and other imperial geezers. but everytime i open the door im spotted and the bloke in the room sets off the alarm! im not really sure what to do. im sure theres a pretty simple solution but any help would be appreciated!

The trick is not to touch anyone, and not to linger around anywhere.

This is what I do.

 

Turn off the lights, then turn around 180 degrees, and jump off the walkway. Make sure you land in FRONT of the first viewscreen, not jump over it. Move left once you're down on the floor, go right past the three imperial officers, right past the second viewscreen, and into the door. You'll hear one of the officers go "Eh?", but as long as you don't dawdle, you'll be fine.

 

However, once you get into the doorway, you alert the next group of enemies, one of whom is then running towards the alarm, so you will need to be a bit quick in getting out and intercepting him before he reaches it.
