Problem Loading Gamesaves

I just got this game, and was a bit worried about how it would run with my Voodoo3 video card. It all works fine, the gameplay that is, without a hitch really. However,, the problem is I can't load game saves at all. When I try, it gives me a big white screen and a strange looping noise. Even stranger is that my computer doesn't lock up, if I hit ESC I go to the main menu. Does anyone know how to fix the load problems, because it's really the only thing keeping me from playing this game! Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Ditto. I find that if I turn down the textures, model complexity, color etc all to the lowest values, i can load saved games. The only time I still have problems is the first load after starting a new level. The only solution I can suggest so far is to save and exit after you enter a new level. I'm using a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI w/16mb. I also find the load screens are screwy and often the text in servers I create are illegible. Good luck!

Yah, thanks for the info, it helps. I also found another workaround for when the gamesaves won't load on another forum. Usually you can load your first gamesave alright, but after that you can have problems. This is my case, but if you change any setup options, the game refreshes and you can load again. So basically it's annoying for me to have to change an option everytime I want to load, but I think it's worth it. But once again, thanks for those tips as well, I'll try and see if I can improve the experience that way.

Then go to http://www.wicked3d.com and download it.

 

I can load games with no problems no. My text in cutscenes and main menu are still fuzzy but the game play is a lot better.
