With EVERY scenario I am sent for my website, I always check them for any kind of virus. So far, 3 people have sent files with a Virus attached, one called a 'BadHumour' virus for which there is not a cure. If you don't have a virus protection on your system, create a HOTMAIL account. What does it do, what files does it infect, and are these virii contained within the scenario files themselves or are they seperate entitys? It has already infected 25,000 computers in its first 24 hours and 1.5 million of BT's naff Openworld have also been infected (source: Metro newspaper Wed 28 Nov) quote: 'It is activiated by previewing it in Microsoft Outlook and uses he potentially devastating trick of replying to UNREAD messages.' I have had it sent twice and it AUTOMATICALLY wants you to open the file. DO NOT OPEN THIS FILE. It sets a path straight into your IE5/6 temp folder file. JUST DELETE IT STRAIGHT AWAY. BT Open world are actually responsible for send out a heap of these themselves to their own users. and likewise, my battlegroundsuk.com email address has been inundated with Virii over the past 7 days, I'm really getting quite ticked about it now.
