Moleculor
Ok, turn on GOD mode, and spawn a few of those Cortosis using troopers. If necessary, use the ladder level on God mode. There are enough of them in there. Don't use the force. Don't jump, don't push, don't do anything except saber (I know those of you who overuse the force are going to have a hard time with this... think of it as a weak form of practice for you). Notice once you start picking up crystals that there's a limit to the number of crystals you can pick up? Notice how your force meter is throbbing? (Get those dirty thoughts out of your head!) Now, wait till Desann comes along (Still don't use force) and load up your lightning. Remember, you have to HOLD down the button, for those who haven't used dark side yet. Zap him. Keep zapping him. Notice how your lightning is going MUCH longer than usual? That's right. The force crystals OVER power your force meter! Sure, eventually it runs out, but you get MUCH more power this way. thrEEpaGe
i dont think that anyone will not use the force long enough to benefit from them..(ie having to jump every 15 seconds)
sinoth
It's still an interesting discovery. I havn't tried it yet, but I doubt you have to totally NOT use force, but conserve it so it will build up. *shrug* Not sure though. Heh, I can see this exploited in MP once we're able to throw them into maps... *shivers as pumped up dark jedi zaps him to death*
Moleculor
Yeah, you just have to conserve, I just wanted the thing to be obvious, since I'm not totally sure if the throbbing decreases with each force use, or with a certain amount of force use. ShadowCell
I knew there was more to those crystals than meets the eye. I'll have to try this out...
Digital_Ronin
Does anyone, by chance know the engine name of that crystal? Planning to experiment a bit, but killing waves of Shadowtroopers for it isn't quite what I intend. So I'll try "summoning" them. StarScrap
Boon gives you infinite force power, if I'm not mistaken. It sounds like the crystals give you a finite amount above your normal maximum.
obijonkenobi
How could you not use the force? There at later levels where you must use the mana with force jumps. Big force jumps infact which burn up mana a fair bit.
