WindShear
Ok.. I'm pissed off.. I bought Jedi Knight 2 today, Here I am.. I installed it, it worked fine, and then tonight when I come to play it after a hard day's *cough* work *cough*. and it chucks a spit at me. I click on single player from either the start menu or the autorun menu and the screen goes black, then it boots me back to windows with the little openGL loading box, and it gives me this error message.. GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem specifically it is the GLW_ChoosePTD that fails. My system specs are below, I am downloading the latest drivers for my geforce 3, but I am using windows XPs base drivers. I've tried reinstalling it, and I've tried it with the multiplayer, and it produces the same result (not unsurprisingly, but I thought I'd try it anyway. I ran the analyze your computer and it passed all the tests. this is really annoying the hell out of me, if anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate them. Thanks Dave p.s. oops.. since my signature appears not to have worked here are my system specs.. Abit KG/7 Motherboard, AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.4ghz, 512mb KingMAX DDR RAM, Asus v8200 GF3 64mb DDRRAM, Pioneer 16x DVD-ROM Phillips 17" Monitor, Hercules Gametheater XP WinXP Pro. camp3r
you might try using a different set of video drivers. more than likely that's where your problem is. if you've already tried the latest try the ones before that and see if you get the same problem.
