MP server listing screen problem

 

When I play multi-player, after I have downloaded the server list, sorted it by ping. I sometimes fail to connect to a chosen server (for legitmate reason, such as full or password protected). Now here is where the problem starts.

 

When I hit escape after receiving the message, I am exited to the main menu screen. I then have to return to "join a server", resort by ping, and then try and reconnect to a new server.

 

Recommendations:

 

1. Indicate which servers are password protected in the list so I know not to try and connect to them. Other games do this, and it works very well on them.

 

2. If I hit escape while attempting a connection, return me to the server listing screen with the servers listed as I left them. This has been a problem with other Quake3 engine games as well, so hopefully it can be overcome with little effort.
