WickedGames
Just in case George (or someone from Raven) is reading this message board I would like to voice a personal gripe about the multi player install of this near perfect game. Would it have been too much to ask to allow a MP spawn for LAN usage without the need for the CD being in the drive? I bought the game for my 6 year old son's birthday this week only to discover that we are not able to play together in Team matches because it requires the disk to be in the drive. Now, I either have to go out and buy another copy just so we can play for a couple hours each weekend or let him play alone. If someone here in the MP fourm has a workaround for this crime against father/son relations would you please post it. $60 is just too much for an extra multi player disk (not to mention almost any other single player game with a multi player side game allows spawns)
Jow
Just make a copy of the disk. It's not physically protected, probably for the very reason you're complaining about. And have fun!
WickedGames
I think it does have some form of protection. Using Prasi software I tried to copy the cd but got some errors. Although I did only try it once and it could have been a glitch so I may give it another shot.
Jow
A lot of people have been publically questioning the Lucasarts/Activision/Raven choice to not use protection of any kind on the game, so. That's definitely the way of it.
KalFalnal
CD Clone made a perfect copy for my 2nd computer.
