Refuelling Landos Ship

I understand that to get the fuel pumping into Landos ship, you need to match the symbols. But I've tried matching the symbols at the valve release, (on top of the big tank thing) but nothing happens. It's almost as if the activate button doesn't work.

 

Is it a glitch, or am I doing something wrong?

 

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

If I recall correctly, you don't do all the symbols up on top of that tank thing. Just the ones that are connected to Lando's ship.

 

I'd have to play the level again, but I found it frustrating, too.

Firstly, go to the ship and find the symbol of the pipe which is currently connected.

 

Then go outside ontop of the tank and select the matching symbol on both pipes.

 

Nothing will appear to happen, but if you now return to the ship the original pipe will be disconnected and a new one (with a new symbol) will be connected.

 

Again, go outside and select the appropriate symbols for the new pipe.

 

I think you repeat this process about 3 times, then you must uncover the grates at either side of the hanger (blow up the boxes on one side and force pull the crate on the other) to get to the roof controls.

Hmm. Just completed that level. I think you need to open the doors first of all, then go and do the refueling. I spent ages going through all the combinations on the refueling station, so I went off and did all the other goals first, then refueled the ship after the first big fight in the hangar.

I had this problem for a short while - the solution is to notice that each valve has a color (red and blue) and this has to match too. Try switching the symbols and it should work.

 

I never heard of a third valve though, and completed the mission without it (as far as I remember)
