I am looking for information on the way people have setup to host game when they are on the other side of the Netgear Broadband Router or a Linksys Broadband Router.

Thanks in Advance.

I presume you mean playing with people on the Internet side of the routers. With the Linksys, only one PC on the internal side can play IF you want to also connect to a PC on the external side. That PC has to be put in the DMZ (see the online documentation), so the inbound traffic isn't blocked by the embedded firewall.

You can also check these links:

SWGB uses Microsoft's DirectPlay for multiplayer, so whatever restrictions DirectPlay has, the game will have.

If everyone is on the internal side of the router, there shouldn't be any problem (IPX seems to work a little better than TCP/IP in that case)
