Can somone teach me how to roll ??

I read about, and see people rolling on the ground after a big jump, or to avoid attacks. How exactly do you execute the roll ?

Only using your lightsaber, you just have to hold the crouch key while moving, or in the air.

 

Easy as 1-2-3.

While in the air, just hold the 'duck' key, nothing more. Kyle will do the rest.

Hold the crouch button down as you move sideways or forwards and i think it works going back too. As for jumping, I never tried it but you would probably have to do the same thing... but with great timing.

To "roll" you take a pill of ecstasy. Then grab some glowsticks and lollypops, head out to the club and take advantage of some chick that cant spell her own name much less remember yours in the morning. Thats how you roll.

I love it when I am running at someone and they start to swing and I roll under the blade and POW!

 

Of course sometimes the pow is them and sometimes its me.

Yep, the dive roll is a very handy move. You can roll in all four directions.

 

It is good for getting into a strike position since you can change direction during the role. I like to roll toward and opponent then veer away and back in behind them (like a '?' pattern), stand up and swing, and jump or roll away.

 

As mentioned it is also good for getting out of an attacker's way.

 

It's also good for lessening damage when making a jump from great heights. Using it with the 'use' key can considerably lessen damage from larg drops.

roll can be used in more ways than that, if u run paralel to a wall and u have at least force jump level 2 you can strafe into the wall while holding jump and you'll do a matrix style wallwalk.

 

very handy to evade people while looking trés cool, also running straight into a wall while holding jump will make you do that cool backflip over the heads of any pursuer and pressing jump twice while strafing side aways into a wall will make you flip over to the side away from the wall.
