my first fix did not work because the filecheck&memory check at the beginning noticed that the file has been changed (-> entities problem).

now i'm using a loader which waits 80ms and then modifies the file ... just in time before the div by 0 comes ...

i havent tried it too long but it seems to work ... but it is possible that the timing isnt perfect.

hope this will help out until the official patch is released.

Firstly, HUGE thanks to raiden for this fix. Many of u know the problems us Dual CPU system gamers have been having with the Mulitplayer part of JKII and finally somone with enough knowledge has created a temp fix to get us online. YEY etc. This post is just kinda a huge *BUMP* for those just got the game on a dual system and having the probs - or those to lazy to navigate to page 3 of the origional thread.

Basically, all u need to do is download the file fromt he link above or from my site here;http://kev.sjcentral.com/Jedi%20Knight%20II/loader.rar. Extract the loader.exe to your 'C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData' directory (assuming thats where u installed to) and runt he multiplayer game from there. If u install raiden previous temp fix, the one that caused the CL_ errors, remove all trace of it (use the back-up of the 'jk2mp.exe' u should have made) and there we go, the probs have gone, for now.

Again huge thanks to raiden for the temp fix. Now we just have to wait for the offical patch, although, this seems to be doing the job just grand.
